In 2017 we saw Despicable Me 3 came to Surfers Paradise, with Gru and minions Dave and Mel hosting daily dance parties in Cavill Mall. Next year there will be more of your favourite characters to meet, greet and show off your dance moves with, plus plenty of other interactive shows and performances from great kids entertainers.
There are workshops for kids, beach games on the iconic Surfers Paradise Foreshore, plus jumping castles, zorb balls, rock climbing, face painting, treasure hunts and many more activities!
Kids Week is one of our favourite events of the year!

Catch Surfers Paradise Kids Week in Surfers Paradise from September 29 to October 5. Our Budget Accommodation Broadbeach is just minutes away from Surfers Paradise.
We have studio apartments and two bedroom apartments. The studio apartments include a balcony, air conditioning, cable TV, ensuite bathroom, basic kitchenette, a small fridge and more. The apartment caters to a maximum of four guests. The two bedroom apartment can accommodate a maximum of six guests. There are tons of exciting activities to do on the beach. Try swimming, surfing, stand-up paddling, kayaking and more. Spend a fun-filled day shopping at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, The Oasis, Harbour Town, Marina Mirage and many others. The most popular shopping centres are just minutes away from our resort. Shop with your girl friends at Tedder Avenue. After a delicious meal, grab a cup of coffee and some dessert. Choose from the range of cafes. Enjoy a night cap at some of the bars in the area and party the night away.
